About TNCME

Building focus, discipline, and confidence through youth marksmanship in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.

Why We Started TNCME

The Tennessee Center for Marksmanship Education was founded by Chuck and Amy Barnett with a simple goal: give more young people the opportunity to be part of something meaningful.

We saw a need for a structured, safe, and disciplined program where students could develop focus, responsibility, and confidence through marksmanship.

Not every student connects with traditional sports. This program provides another path—one that rewards patience, consistency, and hard work.

What We Do

TNCME provides training in Olympic-style sporter and precision rifle for youth in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.

  • Safety-first training environment
  • Structured coaching and skill development
  • Focus on discipline and personal growth
  • Opportunities for competition

Who This Is For

  • Middle school and high school students
  • No experience required
  • Students who want a structured, goal-driven activity
  • Youth who may not connect with traditional sports

Safety Comes First

Safety is the foundation of everything we do. All training is conducted in a controlled environment with a strong emphasis on responsible firearm handling, discipline, and respect.

Students are taught the fundamentals of safety before anything else, ensuring a safe and structured learning experience for every participant.

Our Vision

Our goal is to build a program that gives young people access to high-quality marksmanship training while removing barriers to participation.

We want to grow the sport, develop athletes, and create opportunities that can extend into competition and even college-level shooting.

TNCME is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
